So City of Bones the novel by Cassandra Clare is being adapted for the big screen and the trailer just came out recently!
Check it out!
So I'm not a huge fan of the guy they've chosen to play Jace,,, but if he acts well. ALL WILL BE FORGIVEN!
I'm more in love with the poster of this movie

Never heard of the books?
blurb
When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder -- much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing -- not even a smear of blood -- to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know. . . .
Exotic and gritty, exhilarating and utterly gripping, Cassandra Clare's ferociously entertaining fantasy takes readers on a wild ride that they will never want to end.

In other news.... I've heard there's actually an epic fight scene in Breaking Dawn part 2. IS THIS TRUE? Well I'll just have to wait to find out.
If there is I WILL DEFINITELY BE WATCHING IT!
FYI: Trailer of The Host (book by Stephenie Meyer) , Warm Bodies, Beautiful Creatures is out.I might make a post regarding that later
AHHHHHH! THE TRAILER IS AMAZING! I cannot wait for this movie. Can. Not. Wait. I'm not a huge fan of Jamie as Jace either, he isn't quite as striking as I picture Jace being, but he does have a sexy accent and it seems from the trailer like he does a good job with the character. I'm thinking he'll grow on me. As long as he can pull of the Jace sarcasm, I'll be good to go I think!
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think right now, there's a part of me that doubts that guy could fight off demons/have Jace's superhuman endurance/strength/etc.. He seems a little scrawnier than I expected.
DeleteI really love this trailer. I think I might like the movie more than the book. It looks really promising.
I am more excited for The Host even though I am not a S.Meyer fan. TMI is one of those meh books for me. I like TID more,a lot more.
ReplyDeleteFirst, yes there is the MOST EPIC fight scene ever in BD Part 2. Second, AHHHHH! I'm like obsessively in love with The Host so I'm still wigging a bit about that trailer even though I've watched it a LOT so far.
ReplyDeleteI agree about Jamie Cambell Bower playing Jace, though. I've gotten used to the idea of him, but now I'm annoyed that they've given all of the Shadowhunters British accents. I DO NOT like that. But as long as the movie's good I'll get over it, I guess.

I'm so excited about CoB. Honestly, the only actors I love for their parts are Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Lena Headley.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
I really am not a huge fan of any of the actors chosen. Jace, Alec, Clary, Izzy. The only one that I like is Simon. Hopefully their acting will prove me wrong. I really hope. Anyway, the poster is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the book but I should probably try reading it!
ReplyDeleteI just started following you and hope you can come by my blog and maybe follow back as well? I am doing my first book cover reveal next week and hope you can maybe stop by and check it out!

I haven't really been following the progress of this movie, but that poster really is attractive . . . it's kind of sad but now I kind of want to see the movie!
ReplyDeleteMy one complain about that trailer: I can't see Magnus! (not even sure if he's not isn't in there, because it's so fast, but I can't see him!)
ReplyDeleteThat said... Love that incarnation of Jace, love the feel of it, can't wait to see the movie.
I want the animated poster for my wall. Very cool!!
ReplyDeleteBecause of the trailer, I've started to read the book and I'm hooked. I can't put it down :D

Wow! That poster is so gorgeous! I wasn't sure whether I would like the movie after I found out who the actors were going to play the parts but the trailer looks INCREDIBLE!
