Waiting on Wednesday

Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Breaking the Spine to highlight upcoming releases we're anxiously awaiting! This week I am waiting on....'

*CONTAINS SPOILERS for the previous books*
With power comes enemies. Lots of them.

Hunter Garrity just wants to be left alone. He’s learned the hard way that his unusual abilities come at a price. And he can’t seem to afford any allies.

He’s up to his neck in hostiles. His grandfather, spoiling for a fight. The Merrick brothers, who think he ratted them out. Calla, the scheming psycho who wants to use him as bait.

Then there’s Kate Sullivan, the new girl at school. She’s not hostile. She’s bold. Funny. Hot. But she’s got an agenda, too.

With supposedly secret powers rippling to the surface everywhere around him, Hunter knows something ugly is about to go down. But finding out what means he’ll have to find someone he can trust…

This is the third book in the elementals series.I loved Storm(book #1) so much and recently read the second book (it's on netgalley) The sneak peak of this one ended with a BANG! I cannot wait for this one !

FYI: You can win a copy of the first or second book of this series by entering my 500 followers giveaway :)

Greta and the Goblin King (Mylena Chronicles #1)
 Blurb:
While trying to save her brother four years ago, Greta was thrown into the witch’s fire herself, falling through a portal to a dangerous world where humans are the enemy, and every ogre, goblin, and ghoul has a dark side that comes out with the full moon.

To survive, seventeen-year-old Greta has hidden her humanity and taken the job of bounty hunter—and she’s good at what she does. So good, she’s caught the attention of Mylena’s young Goblin King, the darkly enticing Isaac, who invades her dreams and undermines her determination to escape.

But Greta’s not the only one looking to get out of Mylena. The full moon is mere days away, and an ancient evil knows she’s the key to opening the portal. If Greta fails, she and the lost boys of Mylena will die. If she succeeds, no world will be safe from what follows her back.

Does this sound awesome or what? I mean just read the blurb! READ IT! and tell me that it does not sound awesome...

  12. I'm waiting on SKYLARK by Meagan Spooner, THRONE OF GLASS by Sarah J. Maas, and DEFIANCE by C.J. Redwine... among others. :) I think that 2012 has been a really fantastic year for new releases--sooo many good books have come out and so many more have yet to come out! I'm going to be so poor in 2013 from buying all these great new releases. ;)

Also, GRETA AND THE GOBLIN KING sounds pretty interesting. It has airs of Labyrinth, methinks (I wonder if Isaac will be anything like David Bowie's Jared, though? Hahaha.)
