If case you follow me on Twitter you might have seen this coming .... but I have a copy of Perfect Scoundrels by Ally Carter to giveaway!!

THAT'S RIGHT!!!
YOU HEARD ME

The third book in  the Heist Society series!
Perfect Scoundrels (Heist Society #3)
Katarina Bishop and W.W. Hale the fifth were born to lead completely different lives: Kat comes from a long, proud line of loveable criminal masterminds, while Hale is the scion of one of the most seemingly perfect dynasties in the world. If their families have one thing in common, it’s that they both know how to stay under the radar while getting—or stealing—whatever they want.

No matter the risk, the Bishops can always be counted on, but in Hale’s family, all bets are off when money is on the line. When Hale unexpectedly inherits his grandmother’s billion dollar corporation, he quickly learns that there’s no place for Kat and their old heists in his new role. But Kat won’t let him go that easily, especially after she gets tipped off that his grandmother’s will might have been altered in an elaborate con to steal the company’s fortune. So instead of being the heir—this time, Hale might be the mark.

Forced to keep a level head as she and her crew fight for one of their own, Kat comes up with an ambitious and far-reaching plan that only the Bishop family would dare attempt. To pull it off, Kat is prepared to do the impossible, but first, she has to decide if she’s willing to save her boyfriend’s company if it means losing the boy.

Blog Tour: Down To You Review + GIVEAWAY!

THIS BOOK IS FOR ADULTS.

Down to You (The Bad Boys #1)
The scorching tale of one girl, two brothers and a love triangle…that’s not. Olivia Townsend is nothing special. She’s just a girl working her way through college so she can return home to help her father run his business. She’s determined not to be the second woman in his life to abandon him, even if it means putting her own life on hold. To Olivia, it’s clear what she must do. Plain and simple. Black and white. But clear becomes complicated when she meets Cash and Nash Davenport. They’re brothers. Twins.

Cash is everything she’s always wanted in a guy. He’s a dangerous, sexy bad boy who wants her in his bed at any cost. He turns her insides to mush and, with just one kiss, makes her forget why he’s no good for her. Nash is everything she’s ever needed in a guy. He’s successful, responsible and intensely passionate. But he’s taken. Very taken, by none other than Marissa, Liv’s rich, beautiful cousin. That doesn’t stop Olivia from melting every time he looks at her, though. With just one touch, he makes her forget why they can never be together.

Black and white turns to shades of gray when Olivia discovers the boys are hiding something, something that should make her run as far and as fast as she can. But it’s too late to run. Olivia’s already involved. And in love. With both of them. Both brothers make her heart tremble. Both brothers set her body on fire. She wants them both. And they want her. How will she ever choose between them?

My Thoughts:

This is the second M.Leighton book I've got my hands on. The first one that I got was The Wild Ones and for some reason I just couldn't get into that novel and still haven't finished it. I think my main problem with that book was that there wasn't much of a story but that wasn't the case with this book!

I really enjoyed this book. There was romance ,loads of sexy people and A STORY. You might have to wait a while for the story to  unfold but it's worth the wait because the major plot point is completely UNPREDICTABLE! Believe me guys it will knock you out of the park!

The characters were interesting. I was  a little irritated with Olivia in the beginning because I thought she was leading on two guys but I got over it.  Cash is one character I really liked. (Team Cash FTW!). Nash seemed a little ... I don't know he was ok but something seemed a little off about him, but that's just my opinion.

This book was a roller coaster ride and I definitely enjoyed almost every minute of it.I wouldn't be surprised if this book got picked up by a publisher any time soon ( Publishers do seem to be picking up quite a few indie books nowadays don't they?)

After this book  I'm definitely going to give Leighton's other book another chance! The Wild Ones here I come!

Overall if you're looking for a fun, sexy read with an interesting story that's doesn't weigh heavily on your pocket give this one a shot! I for one ,cannot wait to find out what happens next!

Word of caution THIS BOOK IS HOT! So if you're looking for a very serious book look elsewhere!

My Rating:

4/5

Never been so surprised before!

Movie Freakout/Review :Breaking Dawn Part 2

I know I promised this AGES ago but I didn't get the time to write it....
I hope everyone has seen it by now though

I haven't been a fan of the Twilight movies . I was actually so fed up with it that I didn't even bother to watch Eclipse and Breaking Dawn Part 1 . I wasn't planning to watch Part 2 either but DID YOU SEE THE TRAILER??? I MEAN DID YOU??
I mean he basically used Kristen as a baseball bat!

How could I resist watching the movie? I went to see THAT SCENE.. Hoping and praying that a battle would actually take place ...It doesn't in the book you know...

FROM THIS POINT ON I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR SPOILERS

Dear Stephenie Meyer
you FINALLY did something right with the movies!

Breaking Dawn part 2 was enjoyable and I didn't cringe in the movie EVEN ONCE! I did laugh but it wasn't a mocking how-lame-is-this-movie laugh.

ALL YOU TWILIGHT LOVERS out there need to see this movie! Even people who don't like this movie might enjoy it.

The group of guys in the same hall as mine who had come to make fun of the movie, didn't make fun of LOADS of parts. They actually kept quiet for the majority of the film  *gasp* My friends and I didn't need to tell them to shut up even once. (We didn't know these people and I'm pretty sure everyone comes across groups like these in chick flicks and all that...  )

THE FIGHT DOES TAKE PLACE!

WELL TECHNICALLY IT DOES... You'll get what I mean when you watch the movie...

I AM JUST SO HAPPY WITH THIS MOVIE!!!!

Kristen wasn't THAT annoying actually she was pretty bearable.
Robert Pattison was fine and a little less lame than usual

AND
Taylor Lautner was shirtless *cough* for one scene only though so don't get your hopes up :P

Alice a.k.a Ashley Greene HAD some LINES !!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!

AND THE NEW PEOPLE!!
I LOVED THEM! Especially their powers... It was like watching Justice League showing off their powers!

FIGHT SCENE LOVE!!!!

SO FAR THE BEST TWILIGHT MOVIE !

WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE BREAKING DAWN PART 2?

ARE YOU GOING TO WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN'T?

Excerpt + GIVEAWAY Recipe For Satisfaction [ADULT]

THIS BOOK IS FOR ADULTS.

Recipe for Satisfaction (Madewood Brothers #1)
Being the financial caretaker for her deadbeat parents isn’t the life professional organizer Sterling Andrews dreamed of. Tired of being the dependable—and boring—daughter, Sterling decides to have a little fun. And what could be more fun than seducing rich bad boy chef, Jack Vaughn? Except, after one scintillating night together, Sterling’s not only lusting for Jack, she’s working for him. And remaining professional becomes harder every day.

Already a major success thanks to his exclusive restaurants, Jack Vaughn is looking for something more. Ultra responsible Sterling is unlike anyone Jack has met…but she’s his employee. Unwilling to give her up, Jack makes Sterling an offer she can’t refuse—for four sexy weekends, he’ll indulge her most wicked fantasies with no professional strings attached. But will mixing business with pleasure spell disaster? Or will they find the recipe for satisfaction?

EXCERPT

“I had heard about you. The bad boy Madewood brother. The playboy. The rebel.”
         The stereotype.
“People have a lot of opinions about me. Most ofthem untrue.” She nodded. “I might have been one of them.  You’re nothing like I expected. You’re sweet and caring. Charming.” She gestured with the cup of tea to emphasize her point. “Can I be honest?” She looked away and whispered. “I sort of wish they were true.”
Something else drove her awkward attempt at conversation. Something Jack wanted desperately to find out. “And why is that? Have a fantasy about being with a bad boy? Someone with lots of money and time to make all your sexual fantasies come true?”
Her breath caught and despite the darkness, he saw the blush spread across her beautiful face. Should he have expected anything less? In his experience, lots of women wanted to date a man who had enough money to make every wish come true.
“I...” She bit her bottom lip and her fingers played with the hem of her skirt. She lowered her gaze. “I’ve spent my life being used by everyone I thought loved me. It’s time I looked out for myself.”
Something in her tone made his heart catch. And his fists clench. Jack wasn’t a violent man, but he wanted to hit the asshole, who’d made her feel this way, something fierce. “You want to do things that please you and only you?” It had been a long time since he’d done something for pure pleasure. And to experience it with the first woman to stir up his latent desire would no doubt be unforgettable.
She hid her eyes from him but the tiny shiver thatrippled across her shoulders told him everything he needed to know. Despite promising himself he’d steer clear of meaningless flings, Sterling was unlike any women he’d ever dated. And if she wanted a night of hot, passionate sex with a relative stranger, then he was her man.
Jack lifted her chin with his finger, bringing her gaze back to his. “Well hell, I can help you with that.”

GIVEAWAY!

Entangled Publishing has been kind enough to offer one ecopy of Recipe For Satisfaction.
Please keep in mind that this is an ADULT novel so only people over 18 should enter!

Review: Unravelling

Unravelling (Unraveling #1)
24 meets the X Files in the biggest teen blockbuster of the summer…

STOP THE COUNTDOWN. SAVE THE WORLD…

Leaving the beach, seventeen-year-old Janelle Tenner is hit head on by a pickup truck.

And killed.

Then Ben Michaels, resident stoner, is leaning over her. And even though it isn’t possible, she knows Ben somehow brought her back to life…

Meanwhile, Janelle’s father, a special agent for the FBI, starts working on a case that seems strangely connected to Ben. Digging in his files, Janelle finds a mysterious device – one that seems to be counting down to something that will happen in 23 days and 10 hours time.

That something? It might just be the end of the world. And if Janelle wants to stop it, she’s going to need to uncover Ben’s secrets – and keep from falling in love with him in the process…

My Thoughts:
I don't know how to rate this novel . I liked a lot of parts but there were some things that weren't that great.

The best part about this novel was the fact that it was unpredictable. I can usually predict quite a few things but the author managed to completely surprise me at more than one point! This book is a complete surprise and I don't think anyone will be able to predict the main plot.I was hooked from the start and couldn't stop reading it.

My main problem with this book was the romance.I thought it was a little strange and creepy. It's possible I think that way because I wasn't a huge fan of the male love interest. There's just something off about him.I kept expecting him to "reveal his true colors" (hope that makes sense!)

Janelle was a character I had mixed feelings about. Basically I only had a problem with her when she became all dreamy and started swooning over the love interest otherwise I thought she was pretty awesome. This is one girl who can take care of herself. I just wish she hadn't fallen for the guy...

The pace of this novel is excellent. Even though the romance made me cringe, something interesting always happened right after the romantic parts so I was thoroughly entertained.

One thing I really liked about this book was how the author managed to weave in events that happened in Janelle's life throughout the novel. This really helped give depth to Janelle.I think if some scenes had been from Ben's point of view I could have connected with him better.

For what it's worth I think I'm in the minority regarding the creepiness of the love interest so if you're looking for an interesting thriller that sucks you in and is completely unpredictable just grab this book! I'm definitely going to keep my eye out for the sequel!

My Rating:

Toss up between 3.5 and 4 stars!

Can't decide so I'm giving it a range :)

Cover note:
I like the UK cover of this almost as much as the US one! I hope the UK cover of the sequel is just as pretty as the US one...

Mini Reviews : The Enemy and Tommy Sullivan is a Freak

Tommy Sullivan is a Freak

 Blurb:
Why everyone LOVES Katie Ellison
She's top of the class, she parties with A-list, she's bursting with talent- and she's got the kind of boyfriend any girl would kill to get their hands on.

Why everyone HATES Tommy Sullivan
Four years ago he exposed the football team as cheats- and had to leave town, along with his family. But the graffiti branding him a freak still scars the gymnasium wall and no one has EVER forgotten.

Now Tommy's back in town
But he's very far from being a freak. In fact, Tom's hot- TOTALLY hot. And if Katie's not very careful he could ruin everything!

My Thoughts:
I love Meg Cabot .. I just love her. There was a time when I was obsessed with her. I read this book in that phase.I really enjoyed this novel. It was predictable and the female protagonist was annoying but if you're down in the dumps and need a Cabot fix go get this. Keep in mind though that this isn't one of her best  books.

My Rating:

3/5

Tip: If you haven't read Teen Idol read that instead of this one...it's much more fun!

The Enemy (The Enemy #1)
 BLURB:
They'll chase you.

They'll rip you open.

They'll feed on you . . .

When the sickness came, every parent, policeman, politician — every adult — fell ill. The lucky ones died. The others are crazed, confused and hungry.

Only children under fourteen remain, and they're fighting to survive.

Now there are rumours of a safe place to hide. And so a gang of children begin their quest across London, where all through the city — down alleyways, in deserted houses, underground — the grown-ups lie in wait.

But can they make it there — alive?

My Thoughts:

I'm not a huge fan of Zombie novels but THIS one was good! My only complaint with this one is that people kept dying.I would start liking a person and then the person would die.Good thing about this  was that it kept me on my toes and the storyline was unpredictable.I wasn't willing to pick this one up because I thought it would be too gory and violent but I was too engrossed in the story to notice the violence. Cannot wait to get my hands on  book #2!

My Rating:
4/5

Tip: I know the blurb sounds a lot like Gone by Michael Grant but there are no superpowers PROMISE!
Also if you liked The Hunt by Andrew Fukuda,I think you'll like this (I for one liked it much more than The Hunt)
